TOPIC: THE ANSWER LIES IN YOU
Memory verse:-"In the morning his mind was troubled, so he sent for all the magicians and wise men of
Egypt. Pharaoh told them his dreams, but no one could interpret them for him. Then
the chief cupbearer said to Pharaoh, "Today I am reminded of my shortcomings.
Pharaoh was once angry with his servants, and he imprisoned me and the chief baker
in the house of the captain of the guard. Each of us had a dream the same night, and
each dream had a meaning of its own. Now a young Hebrew was there with us, a
servant of the captain of the guard. We told him our dreams, and he interpreted them
for us, giving each man the interpretation of his dream. And things turned out exactly
as he interpreted them to us: I was restored to my position, and the other man was
hanged.”
So Pharaoh sent for Joseph, and he was quickly brought from the dungeon. When he
had shaved and changed his clothes, he came before Pharaoh. Pharaoh said to Joseph,
"I had a dream, and no one can interpret it. But I have heard it said of you that when you
hear a dream you can interpret it.” "I cannot do it,” Joseph replied to Pharaoh, "but
God will give Pharaoh the answer he desires.”
God created every human being for a purpose that makes us humans unique in different ways. It is us humans who encounter problems and God use the same humans to solve the problems. However, the answers to our problems that we always praying for are bound to come through the very people who are close and far from us. When the Pharaoh was troubled and struggling to get interpretation (i.e. answer) to his dream (problem) God had prepared Joseph to solve it. Most of the time we are tempted to think and expect that the answers to our present problems are in a particular direction, like Pharaoh thought. But God works in mysteries and incomprehensible ways, in the same manner, somebody’s answer to his problems lies right in you. God has made you a problem solver and channel of joy to some people.
However, never despise yourself and do not be negative about your capability. If you will really depend on the strength of God the Most High, you can bring hope to where there is no hope and comfort to where comfort never exist. Joseph became a problem solver through the strength and power of the Lord yet he was a prisoner. Yes! You may be illiterate, financially handicap or physically handicap but you are not less of the people God use to solve peoples’ problems. Believe in God and in your capability.
Prayer:-pray against the spirit of inferiority
pray for God’s strength to do exploit
What to meditate on:
What makes you unique among all the people around you?
