FEBRUARY 20

TOPIC: THERE IS ALWAYS A WAY OUT (EMERGENCY ROOTS)

Memory verse:-"Moses answered the people, "Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the
deliverance the Lord will bring you today. The Egyptians you see today you will never
see again. The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” Then the Lord said
to Moses, "Why are you crying out to me? Tell the Israelites to move on. Raise your
staff and stretch out your hand over the sea to divide the water so that the Israelites can
go through the sea on dry ground. I will harden the hearts of the Egyptians so that they
will go in after them. And I will gain glory through Pharaoh and all his army, through his
chariots and his horsemen. The Egyptians will know that I am the Lord when I gain
glory through Pharaoh, his chariots and his horsemen.”

Then the angel of God, who had been traveling in front of Israel’s army, withdrew and
went behind them. The pillar of cloud also moved from in front and stood behind them,
coming between the armies of Egypt and Israel. Throughout the night the cloud brought
darkness to the one side and light to the other side; so neither went near the other all
night long. Then Moses stretched out his hand over the sea, and all that night the Lord
drove the sea back with a strong east wind and turned it into dry land. The waters were
divided and the Israelites went through the sea on dry ground, with a wall of water on
their right and on their left.”
                                                                                                                               -Exod.14:13-22

One thing is certain anything there is a problem leaders suffer all the blame as happened to Moses but when there is a progress most times leaders do not enjoy like the followers. It was like Moses was leading the Israelites for his own good, better still it was like the Israelites were doing Moses a favor. Funny it may seem, but because Moses was knowledgeable then he did what every good leader might have done. His preaching of motivation was powerful making the people realized that the Egyptians were nothing to worry about. But when he went to God he cried unto him making God know that there was a problem with which only Him can solve.

We do not cry unto our fellow beings especially when we are leaders, but when we go before God we cry unto Him showing our dependence on Him. Because God is a problem solver and knows all the emergency roots He paved a way at the middle of a sea. He made impossibility possible, and turned weeping into laughter. This God is still alive and your God, your deliverance is possible and you are about to laugh like never before.

Prayer:-pray commit your present situation unto God that He will show Himself strong
pray against any form of fear that has been making you uncomfortable
pray and thank God for a new turn of life in faith

What to meditate on:
What in this world do you think is impossible for the Lord, be frank to yourself?
