TOPIC: THE GREAT GOD OF ALL

Memory verse:-"Then Joseph could no longer control himself before all his attendants, and he cried out,

"Have everyone leave my presence!” So there was no one with Joseph when he made

himself known to his brothers. And he wept so loudly that the Egyptians heard him,

and Pharaoh’s household heard about it. Joseph said to his brothers, "I am Joseph!

Is my father still living?” But his brothers were not able to answer him, because they

were terrified at his presence.

Then Joseph said to his brothers, "Come close to me.” When they had done so, he

said, "I am your brother Joseph, the one you sold into

Egypt

! And now, do not be

distressed and do not be angry with yourselves for selling me here, because it was to

save lives that God sent me ahead of you. For two years now there has been famine in

the land, and for the next five years there will not be plowing and reaping. But God

sent me ahead of you to preserve for you a remnant on earth and to save your lives by

a great deliverance”

-Gen. 45:1-7

We see from the life of Joseph that instead of anger he showed love, and instead of vengeance he showed compassion. His brothers; the ones who were before exercising arrogance, hatred and authority over him (because him being the young one among them), are now, according to this passage terrified. When God bless and favor you it does not matter your age or background people including your own blood will submit to your authority.

Joseph before obviously would wonder why he was going through so much distress and hatred but now he has seen that it was God who was working through all those, supposedly, enemies so as to fulfill His plans for Joseph. If the devil knew he was betraying Jesus for him to become the savior and great blessing for humanity he would not have done that. Meaning that, God could use the devil’s evil intentions for you for His own glory and for your blessings. If the Lord of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and Joseph is with you then just have faith that it is not His intention to destroy you but to give you a great future.

Prayer:-pray that God will glorify you like never before

pray that God will let your enemies live long so that they will witness your greatness
