TOPIC: LIFE IS INDEED NOT FAIR

Memory verse:-"In breeding season I once had a dream in which I looked up and saw that the male

goats mating with the flock were streaked, speckled or spotted. The angel of God said

to me in the dream, ‘Jacob.’ I answered, ‘Here I am.’ And he said, ‘Look up and see

that all the male goats mating with the flock are streaked, speckled or spotted, for I have

seen all that Laban has been doing to you. I am the God of Bethel, where you anointed

a pillar and where you made a vow to me. Now leave this land at once and go back to

your native land.’”

Then Rachel and Leah replied, "Do we still have any share in the inheritance of our

father’s estate? Does he not regard us as foreigners? Not only has he sold us, but he

has used up what was paid for us. Surely all the wealth that God took away from our

father belongs to us and our children. So do whatever God has told you.”

Then Jacob put his children and his wives on camels, and he drove all his livestock

ahead of him, along with all the goods he had accumulated in Paddan Aram, to go to

his father Isaac in the land of Canaan.”

Some people, base on the premise that we are God’s Children, refute the fact that ‘life is a battle’. But whether we are God’s children or not the truth is that life is not empty, simple or easy, rather it is sophisticated, and a battle. That is to say life is a mixture of enjoyment and endurance. We saw from the previous lesson that like Jacob whether you are in pain (labor or endurance) or in gain (enjoyment or prosperity) you are not free from human attack (hatred, envy etc) or satanic attack (disgrace, shame, fruitlessness, or sickness). Every level you are now it has its own difficulties, so the level of your blessings, anointing determines the level of difficulties you will face.

A university undergraduate will not be tested with high school curriculum; the level of one’s education determines his level of examination. Life is without difficulties.

Prayer:-pray for the spirit of endurance

pray against any life difficulty that will bring you disgrace or shame
