NOVEMBER 28

                                                                     TOPIC: IT IS POSSIBLE!

Memory verse:-"Esau asked, "What do you mean by all these droves I met?”
"To find favor in your eyes, my lord,” he said. But Esau said, "I already have plenty, my
brother. Keep what you have for yourself.” "No, please!” said Jacob. "If I have found
favor in your eyes, accept this gift from me. For to see your face is like seeing the face
of God, now that you have received me favorably. Please accept the present that was
brought to you, for God has been gracious to me and I have all I need.” And because
Jacob insisted, Esau accepted it.  Then Esau said, "Let us be on our way; I’ll
                     accompany you.”

But Jacob said to him, "My lord knows that the children are tender and that I must care
for the ewes and cows that are nursing their young. If they are driven hard just one day,
all the animals will die. So let my lord go on ahead of his servant, while I move along
slowly at the pace of the droves before me and that of the children, until I come to my
                     lord in Seir.”
                                                                                                                                 -Gen.33:8-14

Christians ought to practice the "believe of possibility”, yes we understand from the scriptures that with God all things are possible yet our lives seem to contradict that belief. Herein, Esau life is a good example, he was not blessed like his younger brother Jacob but he was transformed by the words his father spoke to him that if he will be restless he will broke the curse and burden put upon him by his own selfishness (i.e. selling of birthright).

Esau should have been seen serving and depending on Jacob but it did not happen because he took faith in his father’s words and he made it. He did not even want to receive the gifts that Jacob brought for him because he too was having enough. Beloved it is possible! There is nothing that is not possible, only if you will stand by the word of God and by your faith-being restless in prayer and being faithful to God and yourself-then you can make it like Esau. It is possible with God!

Prayer:-pray that God will give you the faith and strength to stand like Esau
pray against any barrier of your progress in life

What to meditate on:
Was it appropriate for Jacob to call Esau lord and what was the implication of that?
