TOPIC: INHERITING A FATHER’S BLESSINGS
Memory verse:-"Now there was a famine in the land—besides the earlier famine of Abraham’s time—and
Isaac went to Abimelech king of the Philistines in Gerar. The Lord appeared to Isaac
and said, "Do not go down to Egypt
land for a while, and I will be with you and will bless you. For to you and your
descendants I will give all these lands and will confirm the oath I swore to your father
Abraham. I will make your descendants as numerous as the stars in the sky and will give
them all these lands, and through your offspring all nations on earth will be blessed,
because Abraham obeyed me and kept my requirements, my commands, my decrees
and my laws” So Isaac stayed in Gerar.”
Because God was pleased with Abraham Isaac was blessed. Some people are born to take over from their parents a good deal of life. Others also suffer for the sake of a bad lifestyle of their parents. It is very true that each one for himself and each of us is responsible for his life, but it is obvious that no matter what we do a father’s actions in his life time cannot go unnoticed. Some people will definitely know us or deal with us by the lifestyle of our parents. In all the good news is that whether our biological parents have done well in bringing us glory or not Jesus stands in as our beloved father his life, death, resurrection and blessings are for us and those cancel every curse, misfortune or troubles. The wonderful and beautiful life Jesus is our hope.
Prayer:-pray for any bad identity as a result of any relative of yours
pray for all the blessings that Jesus offers to all on this earth and in the future home
