SEPTEMBER 10

TOPIC: ‘LEAVE’ IS KEY IN CHANGE

Memory verse:-"The Lord had said to Abram, "Leave your country, your people and your father’s
household and go to the land I will show you. "I will make you into a great nation and I
will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing. I will bless those
who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be
blessed through you.” So Abram left, as the Lord had told him; and Lot went with him.
Abram was seventy-five years old when he set out from Haran
                                                                                                                                -Gen. 12:1-4

Leaving something for something is a key principle for excellence. If we can not afford to leave behind us the negativity we can not receive the positivity. Better still, if we do not leave behind us wickedness we can not settle for godliness. It is highly impossible for us to combine the past and the present but we can leave the past behind and embrace the present with victory. God asked Abram to leave the sinful ways of his father’s household and positioned himself in a land of newness where God could be very close to him. Abram obedience has brought blessings to all his descendants.

Today God is asking us to leave behind us any kind of evil, negative thought, inferiority, and the likes and come to a place of excellence.

Prayer:-pray against retrogression and inferiority complex in you

What to meditate on:
What do you have to leave behind you?
