Memory verse:-"Where is your wife Sarah?” they asked him. "There, in the tent,” he said. Then the Lord
said, "I will surely return to you about this time next year, and Sarah your wife will have a
son.” Now Sarah was listening at the entrance to the tent, which was behind him.
Abraham and Sarah were already old and well advanced in years, and Sarah was past the
age of childbearing. So Sarah laughed to herself as she thought, "After I am worn out
and my master is old, will I now have this pleasure?” Then the Lord said to Abraham,
"Why did Sarah laugh and say, ‘Will I really have a child, now that I am old?’ Is anything
too hard for the Lord? I will return to you at the appointed time next year and Sarah will
have a son.” Sarah was afraid, so she lied and said, "I did not laugh.” But he said, "Yes,
you did laugh.”
Abraham and Sara thought their ages defied the natural state of giving birth. They were too old to create an atmosphere conducive for making babies, yet they did not know that age, in particular, can not change the plan of God concerning their life. God has no barrier in administering his thought for humanity. But we can create a barrier and the only barrier we can create for God is "unbelief”. If we believe in him and put our belief to work nothing is impossible.
This time next year you would have been telling new and great story of your marriage. This time next year what you are seeking to complete for years would have been completed with excellence. This time next year you will not be chasing success but success rather chasing you. This time next year your testimony will cause people to trust in God more, in Jesus’ name.
Prayer:-declare with faith what you want this time next year and after give thanks to God about that particular thing(s)
What to meditate on:
Why not tomorrow but this time next year?
